The onslaught of Air Jordan 1’s shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. This upcoming version of Micheal Jordan’s first signature shoe draws inspiration from what a young MJ wore to his Rookie of the Year acceptance speech.
In his inaugural campaign, Jordan averaged 28.2 points per contest in leading the lowly Chicago Bulls to a playoff appearance.
The gold harvest and black color blocking pay a nod to the shirt Jordan wore while receiving the award.
At this point, no actual images of the shoe have come to light, but the shoe is to release in October and will be available at select Jordan retailers. The sticker price is to be set at $160 USD.
